April 2020: Production in Russia and Belarus

In the first two weeks in April 2020, translations on the subjects of medicine and pharmaceuticals predominate in our office. Sure, it's mainly about the corona virus. Among other things, we translate a large website for the Federal Ministry of Health. When it's done, you'll see a link.

Update 04/28 The Russian translation is ready. Read and stay healthy.

What do our customers do

Other customers from the technical areas are on hold. Since not all companies in Russia and Belarus are standing still, we all hope that there will not be a total production stop. In these two countries there are companies for which we mainly deliver translations in English on behalf of our European customers.

Production in Russia and Belarus

We all see how differently each country treats the corona virus problem. Most of the companies belonging to our end customers continue to work in Russia. From the beginning the Republic of Belarus did not rely on the measures, like most countries in the world, and did not stop the works.

As is well known, other problems have hit Russia hard, namely the lowest oil prices in years and the associated foreign exchange income, which is now simply missing. Nevertheless, there is encouraging news for companies from Europe: the Russian government will support Russian companies, i.e. their customers, with cash reserves of 300 billion rubles (approx. 3.6 billion euros) even in these difficult times.
